Remix a Master

The remix a master project gave students an opportunity to learn about famous historical artists while being able to put their own spin on the work. We started the project discussing what the difference is between original work and what makes something a remix. Students were given a list of artist to choses from. Research was conducted about the artist before beginning their own work. Students then picked a work that they enjoyed by the artist and remade the work by remixing it in a way that helped them relate to the work.
